Today we got word that yet again our wait times for receiving a referral have been extended. When we submitted our Dossier in January 2011 we were told we would wait 3-6 months to be matched with our child. Then quickly that changed into 6-12 months then 12-18 months and now today they said we should be prepared to wait 21-25 months since our DTE date (ours is 1-28-11). Im not going to lie, when I read the program update today I was a little bummed. Somedays I feel like this process will never end. However, I have deceided that I will just be on my knees more and plead with God to bring grace and mercy to all of those that are involved. My heart just breaks for the children in the orphanges that are having to wait so much longer to be in loving families. I ask that you all please pray for these orphans as they wait to be united with their new families and as we all wait for the Lords perfect timing.
An encouaraging part of this update is that we are at the 19 month mark of the potential 25 month wait and hopefully will only have 6 more months left till we see our little ones face! Oh wont that be a glorious day! :) My heart just longs for my child that is half way around the world and Jared and I look forward to that awesome day that we will be united with the other part of our family that we have prayed for, for so long.
