Nesting has set in!!

We waited to do the nursery until we got home from Africa due to my request.  I had a really hard time emotionally waiting to meet Isaiah from February to June. Since I wasn't sure how I was going to do leaving our son behind, I left a "fun project" to do to fill the time.  Thankfully, the Lord has really carried me and I am lot more myself these days.  It was a tough spring season to watch your child grow through pictures and not have an idea of when you might meet him or bring him home.  However once I loved on him, snuggled him and got to witness his sweet personality first hand, I have been able to really embrace this season.  I can talk about him without crying now and I have really enjoyed nesting and getting ready for his arrival here in the states.  Don't get me wrong that "I have it all together" or anything. I just feel the prayers and love of God holding me tight more than ever as I still process and come to grips that my son, who I love so dearly, resides on the other side of the world.  It has also helped that it has been summer, with lots of fun day trips, swimming at the pool, the beach and fun cookouts to fill our time.  We love our sweet boy, think of him often and long for the day when we will be united together as a family again!

Jared and his Dad have worked hard to transition his room from a junk/guest/exercise room to a sweet baby boy's nursery!

I came home from Africa to a baby blue nursery thanks to my father in law!!

Jared pulled up the carpet that I never liked and put down this beautiful floor!

Things are starting to come together in the nursery and look like a babies room!  Ive been washing his clothes and starting to pack for Africa!!!!!!

And thanks to YouTube videos and a big stuffed animal, I think I now know how to use the awesome Moby wrap that my sister in law gave me! :)  Im hoping to use this a lot for cocooning with Isaiah in Africa and when we come home!

We are still working on hanging stuff up in the nursery and will post some pictures when we are done.  Its been fun "nesting" during these last 6 1/2 weeks home! Now I just need my boy to be here!!!
