Progress!!

So last Thursday our Immigration Approval FINALLY arrived in the mail! This is the document we have been waiting on and has been holding us up on submitting our dossier again. We are grateful it is finally state sealed and ready!!!

On Friday morning I walked into our nurses lounge at work to change my clothes for the day and found this awesome countdown sign for Baby Africa! I seriously almost cried at my coworkers thoughtfulness and excitement for us in this journey.  This means so much and how much fun to get to rip off each number as we countdown to our referral!  The number is an"unofficial number" but a really accurate one for us on the waiting list. This is such a sweet and awesome way to celebrate being in the top ten!!!! Wahoo!  :)

LOVE THIS!!

Because it was my weekend to work Friday through Sunday at the hospital, I didn't get to copy and mail our dossier.  My plan was to copy and mail the documents this past Monday on my day off but Jared was home sick so I stayed here and hungout with him instead.   So I was determined that yesterday I would get everything completed and mailed.  Thankfully I had a very productive day at Fed Ex Kinkos and felt like I made 268 copies in record time!  Here are some pictures of my day!

My work station.
I prayed that no one would need to use the fax machine until I was done! Thankfully no one did and I was grateful to not have to move my stuff or mess up my rhythm and pace!

Yes that says 268 pages! So glad to be done!

The orginal and all the copies for a grand total of 336 pages!

Ready to be mailed!! What a great feeling to finally mail our 2nd Dossier!

We are rejoicing in this step being over for the second time in this process. It's extremely tedious paper chase and it was a huge relief to mail it yesterday! Thank you to everyone who has written letters, prayed and encouraged us while we completed our paperwork again.  Our agency has seen an increase in referrals being given lately for Ethiopia and so we are encouraged that each day that goes by we are getting closer and closer to meeting the child God has chosen for our family!

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
