On Mothers Day morning, I got ready for church and came downstairs to find this and praise and worship music on! I immediately burst into tears at my sweet mans thoughtfulness and his awesome surprise!!! See in our house, we usually don't exchange gifts for holidays or birthdays. However, Jared had taken time to put something special together knowing that this season of waiting on our son has been particular hard on me. I had told myself for days that I was going to be strong this Mothers Day but when I read the card and the bible verse Jared left for me, I just wept. I married such a good and godly man! I am so thankful for him and his love for Jesus and our family. Then I opened the gift my sweet sister sent me and read her card and cried again! I loved how she addressed my card to "Isaiah's Mom!!" By this time I had to completely redo my makeup before leaving for church!
Here are some of the bible verses that Jared placed in my card to encourage me! I am clinging to Gods word as we wait patiently to bring our son home to America!!!
28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Mathew 11:28-30
14 Wait for the Lord;
