Today is the Day...

This is the day we have been focusing on all summer because its the day that marks when our paperwork is starting to expire in Ethiopia.  Since we found out that our paperwork would begin to expire 51 days ago, I have worked hard and fast to get all of our paperwork done.  That means, lots of visits to Fed Ex Kinkos, government offices, a trip to WV, many telephone conversations and emails with our social worker and some tears if I'm honest.  I wish I could be bragging on how its all done, but I can't.  Gods timing is obviously different and we are still patiently waiting for some documents from the Government so that we can proceed with the final stages of this second dossier.  So the paperwork sits in my living room.....

and we patiently wait for the next step. We continue to trust in the Lord and his timing in all of this.

"But I received mercy for this reason, that in me, as the foremost, Jesus Christ might display his perfect patience as an example to those who were to believe in him for eternal life."
1 Timothy 1:16

I would like to say thank you to all my prayer warriors who have diligently prayed for us during this process but especially during this trying time of redoing our paperwork.  We have seen God give us grace with getting the rest of the documents ready and completed in a quickly fashion and we are so grateful for his blessings!
