Sunday Aug 28, 2011 marked 7 months of being on the waiting list for our little one. We have so much to be thankful for during this season of waiting. Each week we see Gods hand at work in helping us save for this journey, to bring him glory and to share the great things he has already done in this process. We are slowly moving on the waiting list and rejoice each time another family is matched with their new child. What a blessing that these orphans are going to have homes and families that love them! We cant wait for the day we are matched with our child!!!
We are keeping our eyes focused on Jesus, praying for his orphans and serving his people during this time. God has given us an awesome small group to disciple this year and we are seeing God move in a mighty way in and through the lives of our brothers and sisters in Christ. What a honor and privledge we have been given during this season of waiting.
Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in
Christ Jesus for you.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
We are so excited that Fall is just around the corner. We love the cool crisp air, the change of colors in the leaves, apple picking, football and camping season and of course Jared loves the fact that hunting season is quickly approaching! We have some exciting fall events planned and are looking forward to seeing how much we will move up on the waiting list before the holidays get here!
